Managing URL Groups
Introduction
Internet is filled with indefinite number of websites. For our convenience, we can categorize them based on their nature of content. These categories are referred as URL Groups. Social Networking, Sports, Entertainment, News are few examples of URL Groups.
You can group the URLs that have something in common and label the group with a name. URL Groups are not limited to ‘official’ categories. You are free to use n URL Group for any group of URLs that from your perspective belong to same subject.
As an Administrator, you can create URL Groups, configure them to users, and maintain them.
Creating URL Groups
The following table lists the steps to create a URL Group.
Step | Action |
1 | With the Admin Console, click the URL Group link on the menu placed in the left-side pane.
Result: The URL Group pane appears and displays the existing groups.

2 | Click the Add icon on the toolbar.
Result: The Add URL Group window appears.

3 | Type the URL Group Name and the Description. |
4 | Click the Save button and close the window.
Result: The URL Group is added to the list in the URL Group pane.

5 | Select the checkbox against the new URL Group and click the View Details icon on the toolbar.
Result: The details pane appears where you can add the URLs for the group.

6 | Click the Add icon and provide the URL details in the Add List Entry window that appears. |
7 | Click the Save button and close the window.
Result: The URL is added to the list.

Repeat 6 and 7 steps to add more URLs. Note:
Click Cancel to go back to the URL Group page.

Editing URL Groups
The following table lists the steps to edit a URL Group.

1 | With the Admin Console, click the URL Group link on the menu placed in the left-side pane.
Result: The URL Group pane appears and displays the existing groups.

2 | Select the checkbox against the URL group you wish to edit and click the View Details icon on the toolbar.
Result: The details pane appears where you can add, delete and edit the URLs of the URL group.

| 1) Click the Add icon.
2) The Add List entry window appears.
3) Provide the URL details and click the Save button in this window.
4) Close the window.
5) The URL is added to the list.

| 1) Select a URL from the list.
2) Click the Delete icon.
3) The URL is deleted from the list.

The following table lists the steps to delete a URL Group.
